Frequently Asked Questions about Jet Cleaning

Will we have the same cleaner for every visit?

  • When we speak to potential clients, one of the most common causes of complaint with their current office cleaning company is that they never know who is going to turn up. This can be quite frustrating as they won’t be familiar with your office and you’ll probably find that the standard of cleaning isn’t particularly consistent.  At Jet, we endeavour to make sure the same cleaners attend your office.  There will be times when your regular cleaner is away but we’ll always make sure that their stand-in is familiar with your site.  We’ll also make sure you are aware if there’s going to be a new face!

Are the invoices clear?

  • Understandably, this is another area of concern among potential clients.  Sometimes the invoices are a bit unclear which is not only frustrating but can lead to clients to distrust their cleaning service provider.  All our invoices are straightforward with any consumables clearly explained.

How often will we be invoiced?

  • For a regular office cleaning contract, we’ll invoice on the 1st of the month and direct debit on the 15th.  We use the GoCardless system to make the process as smooth as possible.

How will our cleaner be supervised?

  • All our cleaners have reached a high standard and so don’t require daily supervision.  But you will be assigned a supervisor who will work with you and the cleaner to ensure that the service is up to scratch.

Do we need to buy our own cleaning products?

  • We can provide everything required to keep your office clean.  If you are keen to go down the green route then we can provide the appropriate products.  We're happy to provide washroom supplies too.

What happens if we don't get along with our cleaner?

  • Sometimes not everyone gets on!  If you aren’t happy with your cleaner then let’s have a chat and work something out.

Which areas do you cover?

  • Our office is in Shepperton but we provide cleaning services in all surrounding areas - Surrey, Berkshire, Middlesex, Hampshire, London...

How can we pay you?  Do you accept credit cards?

  • We accept payments by cheque, BACS, credit and debit cards.  For regular cleaning contracts we like to use the GoCardless system.

What happens is the cleaning standard isn't high enough?

  • We don’t think that this will be a problem but you must tell us if you aren’t happy with the service.  We’ll get it sorted ASAP.

Can I trust the cleaner?

  • Yes.  We’re used to working in a variety of workplaces and our cleaners are completely trustworthy.

Do we need to be here when the cleaner visits?

  • It’s up to you.  We’re happy to have the keys to your workplace and we're well versed in alarm systems.  We’ll just need to run through the procedure with you when we start the contract.  You may find it easier if we clean your site out of normal working hours so that we don’t get in anyone’s way.

Would I have to pay for a quote?

  • No, absolutely not!

Is there a long contract if I sign up with Jet?

  • In order for us to provide the best service with a regular cleaner, it makes sense for us to have one year agreements.  During this time, you can be assured of a fixed price and an excellent service which means that you can cross the office cleaning off your list!  One less headache!

Do you offer green products?

  • Yes.  If you have a preference for green, more environmentally friendly products then we can certainly help.

Are you insured?

  • Yes.   We have Employers and Public Liability insurance of £10m.

What's your cancellation policy?

  • We’re confident that you’ll be happy with our service but unforeseen events can happen.  We’ll just need one month’s notice if you’d like to cancel.

What sort of training do your cleaners undertake?

  • All our cleaners are trained by our senior cleaning team to ensure a consistently high standard.  Some cleaners have specific training as appropriate (such as working at heights).

What are your hourly rates?

  • We don't publish our hourly rate as all jobs are priced according to the actual service required.  But rest assured, we are very competitive.

If we decide to use Jet Cleaners, how soon can they start?

  • Once we’ve visited, written your personalised proposal and you’ve accepted it, we can usually start within a week. If you already use a cleaning company and TUPE regulations apply, we will work with your current company to transfer the staff across.  We’ll then work with the team to ensure everyone meets our high expectations.
